College Within Reach Event for Foster Youth

United Friends of the Children’s annual event College Within Reach event is happening at USC on Saturday, September 17, 2016. It is for all LA County youth in foster care, ages 12 to 24, as well as the adults in their lives (i.e., caregivers, social workers, mentors, etc.).
United Friends of the Children provides transportation from all over Los Angeles County as well as breakfast and lunch. The event features keynote speakers, a resource/college fair during lunch and tailored workshops that provide critical information to youth who are considering college and information on how caregivers and service providers can support them along their journey.
