A TRAINING for PARENTS

6 SATURDAYS SEPTEMBER 16 – OCTOBER 28th, 2017

A class for parents connected by foster care and adoption. Teaching interventions and tools for connection, understanding, and facilitating developmental attachment with your child. Based on the book by Dan Siegel and Mary Hartzell, Parenting From the Inside Out.

A MUST for any parent. This class will EMPOWER you, build your CONFIDENCE, and bridge COMPASSION for yourself, AND your child.

• Learn how to manage your child’s overwhelming stress states.
• Learn how to manage your adult’s overwhelming stress states.
• Explore the extent to which our childhood experiences shape the way we parent.
• This workshop will guide parents through creating the necessary foundations for loving and secure relationships with their children.

This class facilitated by

Casey Jones, M.A., M.F.T. Family Clinician, earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute, specializing in child therapy. She has trained at the Early Childhood Parenting Center and the California Family Counseling Center’s School-based program. Casey provides child, family, and adult psychotherapy for adoption, foster care, parenting, trauma, depression, ADHD, anger, anxiety, and attachment issues. She creates a safe and supportive environment to nurture all families. Drawing from a lifetime of personal experience, Casey offers compassionate understanding and specialized support to all members of the adoption constellation.

Ledette Gambini, M.A., M.F.T. Registered Intern, earned her Masters degree
in Clinical Psychology, with a Child Studies Specialization from Antioch University. As the mother of two young children adopted through foster care, she understands first hand the complex issues involved for all in the process. Her focus in family and individual therapy is on healing early life trauma and helping to build healthy, loving relationships.
