Southern California Foster Youth Summit

California Youth Connection is hosting a fun filled leadership development training day for youth from foster care. The Southern California Foster Youth Summit is FREE and is open to youth from foster care ages 14-24 in the Southern California area. The event will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Los Angeles City College in Hollywood. We need your help in sharing this information and helping your youth get to this event! Space is limited so don’t delay and register today! When: Saturday, April 30 (9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Where: Los Angeles City College Student Union, 855 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029. (Free parking is available next to the Student Union)

How do I get there? The campus is located conveniently next to the METRO RED LINE and the 101 Freeway off Vermont. If you buy a bus or metro pass that day, we will reimburse you up to $10! Look for signs from the Metro to the Student Services Center.
Will there be food? YES OF COURSE! We will have breakfast, a candy bar, nacho bar, tons of snacks and a delicious lunch prepared by the TACO MAN.
