The Boston based Jobs For the Future is seeking proposals to fund new Student Success Center in up to four states.
The organization is supported by the Kresge Foundation and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Student Success Centers provide state level support to community colleges by serving as a hub connecting leadership, administrators, faculty, and staff. Applicants will propose to create an organizational home and the staff
capacity needed to mobilize the state’s community colleges around common action to
accelerate their efforts to improve persistence and completion
The centers also help colleges use data in more effective ways, help coordinate research at the institutional and state levels, and seek to determine how state policies can make campus environments more conducive for student success.
Grantees will receive two year start up grants. The RFP is open to any to any state without an operating statewide Student Success Center.
