The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is accepting applications for their 2016 College Scholarship.
The Scholarships are intended for high performing low income youth.
Cooke College Scholars receive up to $40,000 per year for up to four years of study, opportunities and funding for study abroad and internships, support from a Cooke Foundation adviser, and a pathway to the Cooke Foundation’s $50,000 per year Graduate Scholarship.
College Scholars are chosen based on exceptional academic ability and achievement, unmet financial need, persistence, desire to help others, and leadership. Applications require students to provide their academic transcripts, standardized test scores, teacher recommendations, self-assessments, and essays. Final notification to accepted students will be made in March 2016.
