Beit T’Shuvah seeks a charismatic and inspiring service-minded leader as Executive Director. Beit T’Shuvah is a Jewish, faith-based recovery center which focuses on the spiritual healing of addiction. It is both a 140 bed residential treatment center and a full-service congregation offering religious services, holiday celebrations and study. Beit T’Shuvah is an innovative recovery and treatment center which uses a combination of 12 steps, integrated personal counseling and Jewish spirituality to help save lives. It is nationally recognized for the success of its treatment model. The Beit T’Shuvah treatment model helps graduates of the program with their productive reentry into the real world through spirituality, and the mission driven program that heals the person and their family. Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Board Chair, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall successful financial operation, reputation and performance of the organization, including service programs, fundraising and business operations. While Beit T’Shuvah was founded 30 years ago, it has grown rapidly in recent years and in some ways operates more as a start-up. The Executive Director should be able to adjust to dynamically changing priorities and a fast-paced environment while at the same time helping to professionalize infrastructure and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of senior leadership experience, preferably in an addiction treatment center, mental health, healthcare, and/or human service nonprofit environment. Alternatively, candidates from for-profit healthcare, human service or other pertinent environments will also be considered. Successful experience with, or strong potential for, major gift fundraising is essential. Knowledge of third party insurance billing would be a plus. Candidates should have an awareness of Jewish community traditions and be committed to working in and fostering a faith-based environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
