California’s children aren’t doing well. The state ranked 41 out of the 50 states in a national study ranking children’s well-being. The 2014 California Children’s Report Card takes a look at the state’s children to determine how they are really doing and what policy changes are necessary to improve children’s well-being. The report defines, measures and grades, on a scale from A to F, the important issues of education, health and child welfare.
