The Runaway and Homeless Youth Act (RHYA) funds three programs to help runaways and homeless youth who are vulnerable to high-risk behaviors and victimization. Many social factors such as family conflict, sexual orientation, drug use etc. correlates with runaways and homeless youth.
This report addresses various federal programs that help these youth, including:
- Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program
- Chafee Foster Care Independent Program
- Shared Vision for Youth Initiative
- Discretionary Grants for Family Violence Prevention Program
