Doug Diefenbach has joined the Alliance for Children and Families as senior vice president of marketing and philanthropy. It is a newly-created position at the organization, which represents 350 members in the youth and family services industry.
Diefenbach comes to the Alliance from Advocate Charitable Foundation, where he was vice president of campaign strategy and communication, and before that spent 20 years in the. His dual tasks will be to raise the organization’s national profile and to establish revenue streams outside of the membership.
The Alliance is one of the four affiliates of Families International, which also includes United Neighborhood Centers of America, Ways to Work, and FEI Behavioral Health.
