Bundy to Lead Children’s Home Society of America

The Chicago-based Children’s Home Society of America has hired David Bundy to lead the 131-year-old organization, which provides child welfare and family services in 19 states.

Bundy led CHS’ Florida operation from 2000 until this year, and has served in some capacity at CHS since 1988.

“I’m honored to take on this expanded role at an organization I have long admired,” Bundy said. “I look forward to furthering my commitment to ending child abuse and neglect in America.”

Prior to his work with CHS Florida, Bundy was New Hampshire’s director of the Division for Children and Youth Services, as well as executive director of the City of Manchester Office of Youth Services.

CHS recently formed a partnership with the University of North Carolina School of Social Work  aimed at testing and improving policies around child welfare and well-being.
