As we covered last week, the D.C.-based Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) is hanging on by a financial thread. The organization – which represents and liaisons between the state advisory groups (SAG) created by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act – has pared down to a shell, employing just a few part-time consultants.

Coalition for Juvenile Justice Names Marie Williams to be Executive Director

The Coalition for Juvenile Justice hired from within and made Marie Williams’ its executive director. Williams has led the 30-year-old, D.C.-based coalition of state advisory groups on juvenile justice since August, when its longtime executive director Nancy Gannon-Hornberger left  to run Social Advocates for Youth San Diego.

Hornberger Stepping Down at Coalition for Juvenile Justice

Nancy Gannon Hornberger will resign as executive director of the Washington-based Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ), a national membership group for state advisers on juvenile justice, in August. Hornberger steps down after seven years at the head of the coalition.
